The Most Reverend Joseph A. MacNeil, Archbishop Emeritus of Edmonton, Alberta was presented with CCSTA’s Justice James Higgins Award for outstanding contribution to Catholic education in Canada. NCEA Convention held in Anaheim

2008 CCSTA Brantford Convention a Grand Success!
Catholic trustees, administration and companions from across Canada gathered in Brantford, Ontario from June 5-7 for the 48th annual Canadian Catholic Schools Trustees’ Association Convention and Annual General Meeting. Read more about the highlights of the Convention.
Sault Convention a Huge Success!
Voyageurs in Our Faith... Gathering to Make a Difference
From the Opening Ceremonies on June 7 through to the Gala Banquet on June 9, the CCSTA Convention/AGM in Sault Ste. Marie was a gathering to be remembered. Throughout the three days delegates were inspired by liturgies, challenged by keynote speakers James McCracken and Sister Clare Fitzgerald, and enlivened by entertainment and hospitality. Add the high quality of workshops and in-depth presidential, provincial and committee reports to this mix and you have a Convention to be long remembered. More than two years of planning by the local committee ensured such success. (more)
