Father Remi Lessard – New CCSTA Chaplain

Fr. Remi LessardFather Remi Lessard has joined CCSTA as the Association’s Chaplain. Fr. Remi brings a wealth of experience and leadership in Catholic education to this chaplaincy position of spiritual leadership. Father is the pastor of Transfiguration Parish in Cochrane, Ontario.

CCSTA welcomes Father Remi Lessard as its Chaplain and thanks him for his generous spirit in sharing his time and talents with us as we proclaim Catholic education across Canada.

Father Remi has offered these comments as he joins the Association:

“It is with great joy that I have accepted to join the Canadian Catholic Schools Trustees' Association (CCSTA) as its chaplain. For many years, I have been involved in the Catholic school milieu in the province of Ontario. I helped out as a school trustee, as president of a board, as president of a provincial association of trustees, as a parish pastor and as a professor of the Religious Education Specialist program. May these years of experience be of service to you. I do hope that across Canada, no one will walk the corridors of our Catholic Schools without encountering the tenderness of God.”
