Following a Canada-wide search, CCSTA is pleased to announce that John Stunt has been named Executive Director of its Association. President Regis O’Connor made the announcement on June 5th at the Annual General Meeting in Victoria. 

“Mr. Stunt brings a wealth of experience in Catholic education”, President O’Connor stated. He has served as teacher, school and board administrator, and presently as the Executive Director for the Ontario Catholic School Trustees’ Association. Mr. Stunt will be succeeding Greg McNally who is retiring from the position at the end of this year. We thank Mr. McNally for his service to CCSTA and welcome Mr. Stunt to our Association.

Greg McNally, Executive Director of CCSTA, has announced his plan to retire, effective December 31 of this year.

Mr. McNally had succeeded John Flynn (1992 – 2004), with his first task the moving of the CCSTA office from Toronto to Ottawa. From there he set about reaching out to the Catholic School Boards throughout the country.
