Living the Social Mission: Perspective and application for Catholic Leaders – Kathleen Ladouceur

What is the role of Catholic schools in the social mission of the Church, and how do they live out this social mission? Can we go beyond the rhetoric of ‘loving our neighbour’ to become more authentic practitioners of the social gospel? How do we equip our staff and students to be Catholic citizens in our country and in our world? This workshop will equip you with the perspective of Integral Human Development and the practical See Judge Act framework, so you can apply a Catholic lens to social, political, or economic situations, both within and outside of the board. Let’s challenge ourselves to bring the social gospel to life in every aspect of our worldview, and every facet of our Catholic identity.
